The Workshop also maintains a Supply Store which allows students to purchase materials through the use of student purchase cards. The Supply Store maintains a stock of the most often used materials for sale to students, while most common modelling and building materials can be ordered through the Workshop within a few delivery days.

McGill Library

McGill Library holds a generous amount of resources available to students. All you need to do is look up the keyword of the area or topic you want to research on and locate the book of your interest through the library search engine.

McGill Writing Centre
 

​

The Writing Centre offers great writing tutorial services. Each session runs from 30min to one hour. You are free to brainstorm topics, thesis statement with the tutor before you start the paper. However, it is usually more effective if you come in with a rough first sketch of the paper than empty-handed. You could also see the tutor for proofreading, final editing of the paper. Be aware that the writing center gets extremely busy towards midterm and the end of school year, so make sure to make an appointment as soon as you know your paper due day.

The Blackader-Lauterman Collection
 

Located on the 3rd floor of Redpath library, the Blackader-Lauterman Collection is your go-to places for architecture books, magazines, and other resources on campus. The Blackader-Lauterman Collection of Architecture and Art houses the core research collections for the School of Architecture, the School of Urban Planning, and the Department of Art History & Communication Studies.

The CCA  collection documents the culture and production of architecture worldwide from the Renaissance through the present day. It is made up of interrelated bodies of primary and secondary materials. Access to the collection is provided physically in the study room and online through the website’s search engine.
