McGill Writing Centre

The Writing Centre offers great writing tutorial services. Each session runs from 30min to one hour. You are free to brainstorm topics, thesis statement with the tutor before you start the paper. However, it is usually more effective if you come in with a rough first sketch of the paper than empty-handed. You could also see the tutor for proofreading, final editing of the paper. Be aware that the writing center gets extremely busy towards midterm and the end of school year, so make sure to make an appointment as soon as you know your paper due day.
